Another Year, Another First

As the turn of the year takes place, we will be having the first night of 2015, the first day of 2015, etc. Another year is now behind us, and your mother and I have two fantastic little sons who are growing at exceedingly impressive rates. By this time now, Aiden is all but walking on his own accord. It seems as though he just honestly enjoys holding hands because he continually demonstrates that he has all of the working knowledge of walking that is required to get the job done. And for Jacob, we are having a most delightful time with you young man as you continually find words to put together to make compound words. You are beginning to assemble phrases, and you take great sport out of following commands in order to receive your well deserved praise for a job well performed. In the mean time we have all been growing together as a family, forming a more perfectly solid bond between the four of us through the hardships that continue to press us on all sides.
Regardless of the toils and setbacks we do encounter, we always have it made because we have each other and that my sons is what truly matters in a man's lifetime. If a man wastes all of his money, he can work hard and after a while he can earn it all back. But when a man wastes his time, there is never a way for him to reclaim it.

As of lately my hands have been consistently covered in soil, and being colored by the damp pigments from soaking spent flowers as I remove them to promote new growth. It is greatly important my two sons that you carry great pride in the work that you do with your hands, but also having the certainty that God's Glory affixed those hands to your person and that it is for his glory that you engage each of your endeavors. There is also a great importance that you know when it comes time that you my sons begin having children of your own; it will be your responsibility to then instruct your children in the way of God's will. Without the chief architect that indeed crafted all mankind, our daily tasks instantly become unimportant. Keep these words and words like them near your heart always. Always carry a song for the Lord.

Both of our boys have wrestled with bear in their sleep

Well, Aiden and Jacob have both wrestled with one of Aiden's stuffed bears. In fact different bears, both belonging to Aiden however. The larger of the two bears is the bear that Jacob wrestled with in his sleep, the smaller bear being the bear that Aiden had wrestled during a peaceful slumber. But both of the two bears belonged to Aiden, and both bears were wrestled with in the sleeping ambiance of our two boys.

Jacob had a post about allergy testing done by his two parents. And thus, Aiden as well requires some entries regarding this. You will find that post here Aiden!

Aiden's not so scientific allergy study performed by his granma Teresa Hostuttler. This is how it goes, Jacob and Aiden both spent a weekend with granma. Their father had mentioned to her, when the idea of spending granchild time with the kiddos came up, that as long as she kept to Aiden's routine of us needing to check on these food allergies, that it would be a good deal. A good deal this venture certainly was. Although during this period of time Aiden was introduced to a couple new foods. White grape juice, and apple juice. both being in the form of juice and going into the mixture consumed along with rice ceral.
So far we know for certain that Aiden is not allergic to Rice, Milk, Formula (Similac Advanced for both boys). We can speculate that Aiden is not having of a food allergy to grape or apple as a result of this rather unscientific test.

Happy Birthday, Jacob Solomon Hiett. You are now officially two years old and it has been a fantastic two years for me knowing you. I type this as you slip with me asking you if you have been walking long, and your mom chuckling to the whole concept. I love you my son. And during this month on the Third day you have for yourself the best occassion that you can possibly produce each and every year.
